2022 Election Resources for Members
18 April 2022Electorate Profiles – mental health
Mental Health Australia has developed these resources to support our members’ advocacy in the lead up to 2022 Election.
These electorate profiles outline the need for mental health reform nationally and the particular experience of mental health issues and service access in each electorate. Mental Health Australia members are encouraged to use these electorate profiles to raise particular issues and priorities with candidates in locals areas.

Note on data
The data included in the mental health 2022 Electorate Profiles reflects available national data, and so unfortunately does not reflect essential components of the mental health ecosystem where this data is not available to be proportioned to electorates (including non-government organisation community mental health services, state and territory government community mental health services and psychosocial services). Mental Health Australia is advocating for improved national mental health data collection that includes non-government community mental health services.
