Members Policy Forums
MHA's Members Policy Forums are a cornerstone to MHA's policy engagement, are a constitutional requirement and are key performance indicators in MHAs grant agreement with the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. The events consistently receive excellent satisfaction ratings post event, and MHA members report the events are valuable to them in their current form.
MPFs are held twice a year, in-person and online and are structured as an all-day meeting to bring members together to discuss key mental health policy reform issues and hear from sector leaders. The event incorporates presentations, workshops and networking opportunities.
If your organisation is not a Mental Health Australia member, you can explore Membership here.
The most recent Members Policy Forum was held at Old Parliament House in Canberra. Watch the highlights reel below.
Highlights and Feedback
A great selection of speakers, the panel discussions were interesting, I liked the use of slido for audience questions, and a very useful opportunity for networking, thinking collaboratively, and energising ongoing work.
